Start tracking your assets with the Trimtrac™ GPS/GSM device from Trimble™. For only £199 you will get accurate GPS locations within your browser through FindWhere. With its integrated GSM modem, the Trimtrac™ sends locations and status data using SMS. The Trimtrac requires an activation and a monthly bundle which includes the GSM SIM card and unlimited access to FindWhere. The Trimtrac with Battery Pack is configured to send locations whenever it's moving. The tracking interval can be set by the end user and could be between 2 minutes to 24 hour reports.

If you prefer to connect the Trimtrac to an existing vehicle battery, the Vehicle Adapter priced £50 allows you to do so. When connected to an external power supply, the Trimtrac can also be "polled", thus positions can be requested whenever required. The Vehicle Adapter also allows you to connect up to three external inputs, like an "alarm system" or "ignition on" which will trigger the Trimtrac to send status messages, locations or alarm messages to your FindWhere Account.

The FindWhere™ GPS Solution starts at the GPS satellite system put in place by the US Government.

The GPS signals are received by the Trimtrac device on the mobile unit. The GPS signal is processed into coordinates and, with some additional information, packaged and sent over the mobile phone network to FindWhere. A unique combination of technologies allows the unit to utilize any GMS network in the world!

The FindWhere™ hosted system receives, processes, and stores the data. Based on the information in the message, the hosted system executes certain particular functions. The hosted system is web accessible 24/7 for users and systems, allowing continuous operation.

Any user with an account on the system can access his or her own data. All data is displayed in a web browser with a map display. FindWhere™ has put a compelling package together that lets you focus on your business. The complexity is replacing batteries and logging on to a web site, the rest is taken care of by the most successful location aggregation company in the world.
